Missions Week 2016

Each October Harvest Church takes a week to place an emphasis on its involvement with World Missions. The “Great Commission” of the church is to go into all nations so that all people might hear the good news of Jesus Christ and God’s love for humanity. Last Sunday we began our missions week by hearing from our very own Dave Nichols who along with his wife Linda led a team of volunteers to Suriname to construct a local church. Their next scheduled missions trip is in March 2017 where they will return to Bonaire and continue construction of a youth center.
Missions Week continued on Wednesday night as the church put together care packages from items donated by our congregation! With your help we were able to pack over 100 bags that will be distributed to those in need around our community! It was such a blessing to be able to take part in such an awesome event!
Missions week concluded this past Sunday Morning with special guests, Mark and Sandra Smith, who are AGWM missionaries to Mexico! Harvest Church supports 19 Missionaries throughout the world. Missions is a central theme to the core of the church and though we take a special week every October to highlight world missions, it is always on the forefront of our focus!
